Oksana Mont
Prof. Dr. Oksana Mont is a Professor and Research Coordinator in Sustainable Consumption Governance at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE), Lund University. She holds a PhD in Engineering, MSc in Environmental Management and Policy, MSc in Biology and Chemistry. Her main research area is sustainable consumption and production, in which she combines projects on innovative business models (for circular economy and collaborative and sharing economy) with sustainable lifestyles and sustainable consumption policy and governance (including tools for changing behaviour, e.g. nudging) with high-level policy consulting. Oksana is the principle investigator for this project.

Andrius Plepys
Dr. Andrius Plepys is an Assistant Professor at the IIIEE, Lund University. Since late 90s he has been interested in research on sustainable consumption and production and was engaged in a number of international research projects of sustainable waste management, resource efficiency strategies and sustainable solutions through business or lifestyle innovations. Of a particular interest is research on product servicising and product-service systems, circular business models and sharing economy. Andrius is teaching courses on analytical approaches for environmental assessments in several MSc programmes in Sweden and abroad. His current research focuses on socio-economic evaluations of different governance strategies and business innovations using hybrid input-output and lifecycle assessment approaches.

Yuliya Voytenko Palgan
Dr. Yuliya Voytenko Palgan is an Associate Professor at the IIIEE, Lund University. She holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University (Hungary) and a postdoc from Graz University of Technology (Austria). She has over 12 years of experience working in multicultural, multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams. Yuliya works in the areas of sustainability, urban governance, innovation and sustainable consumption. Her research focuses on strategies for sustainability solutions in new economies (i.e. bioeconomy, sharing economy and circular economy) and sustainable urban innovation and experimentation (e.g. urban living labs, nature based solutions in cities). Yuliya works to promote education for sustainability at all levels: postgraduate, graduate, undergraduate and professional. Yuliya teaches on a range of topics and disciplines including environmental science, sustainable development, sustainable consumption, innovative business models for sustainable living, and the sharing economy. She coordinates a MSc course on research design and methods. Yuliya worked with society advising industry, policy makers, municipal leaders, entrepreneurs, research institutions, NGOs and international organisations such UNDP, UNFAO, EEA and OSCE.

Ana María Arbeláez Vélez
Ana is a PhD student in the IIIEE, Lund University. She is interested in comprehending how to develop sustainable urban areas as she believes this is one of the cornerstones for sustainable development. Achievements in urban sustainability in one city can lead a way to create possibilities for reducing the impacts in other urban areas. Her research will be focused on quantifying the impacts shared economy has on the sustainability of cities.
She has a Master in Industrial Ecology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2018). In her Master thesis she used a Multi-Regional Input and Output model to evaluate the impacts of trade on the gender equality of the labour force of several regions of the world. Her Bachelor was mainly focused on the economic sustainability of companies (Bachelor in Industrial Engineer).

uLRIKA vINKA
Ulrika Vinka is a Research Assistant at the IIIEE, Lund University. She supports the Urban Sharing team with various administrative and practical tasks and are responsible for the communication work. She has an university degree in energy- and environmental engineering from Karlstads University (2000) and has long experience from environmental work in both private and public sector in the region of Skåne.
Matthias Lehner
Matthias Lehner is Postdoc at the IIIEE, Lund University. He has a long lasting interest in sustainable consumption and production. During his studies at agricultural universities in Vienna and Uppsala he received training in agricultural production and the food supply chain. For his PHD dissertation he looked into the role of food retailers in promoting sustainable consumption. During his PhD he even worked with the ‘nudge’ concept. His main research interests revolve around human behaviour, consumption, market communication and marketing.

Jagdeep Singh
Dr. Jagdeep Singh is a postdoctoral fellow at the IIIEE. His current research focuses on evaluating the social, economic and environmental impacts of sharing economy or collaborative consumption. He has pursued a PhD and Licentiate of Engineering in Industrial Ecology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. He also holds a M.Tech. in Energy Studies (Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India) and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Himachal Pradesh University, India). Previously, he has worked as a Research Fellow in Sustainable Business at Nottingham Trent University, UK and was a member of the Centre for Industrial Energy, Materials and Products (CIE-MAP). He worked on identifying and evaluating environmentally sustainable business practices focusing on resource efficiency and the circular economy. Apart from the above activities, he has great interests in environmental philosophy, social psychology and astronomy.

Lucie Zvolska
Lucie Zvolska is a PhD student in the sharing and collaborative economy at the IIIEE, Lund University. She is engaged in the URBAN SHARING project with the aim to examine, test and advance knowledge about design, sustainability of practices and institutionalisation processes of urban sharing organisations. Her main interest lies in unpacking the potentials of urban sharing organisations to address issues associated with global urbanisation and unsustainable consumption, and in the institutionalisation of sustainable sharing practices.
Prior to joining the IIIEE team, Lucie obtained a MSc in Environmental Management and Policy from IIIEE at Lund University (2015). Her MSc thesis explored the sustainability potentials of the sharing economy. She holds a BA in International Tourism Management from University of Brighton.

Steven Curtis
Steven is a PhD student at the IIIEE, Lund University. He is researching sharing as a consumption practice, facilitated by urban sharing organisations (USOs). To begin, his research will focus on the communication and framing of the sharing economy by academics and in popular science. The focus will then turn to examining design of, and practices by, USOs and the impact USO activities have on consumer behaviour. In particular, this approach will seek to understand processes for institutionalising sharing as a consumption practice.
Interest in this field stemmed from his Master’s thesis in urban innovation surrounding Urban Living Labs. With the challenges of climate change, urbanisation, and population growth, he believes that cities are the arena in which significant progress can be made in advancing sustainable solutions, in particular, through inclusive urban innovation. Steven is a graduate of the Environmental Management and Policy Master’s Programme at the IIIEE (2015). He obtained his Bachelor of Science from Penn State in Environmental Meteorology (2011), with emphasis on the impact humans have on climate, air, and water quality.
