Andrius Plepys has recently acted as a second opponent in a PhD thesis defence of Gibran Vita at Industrial Ecology Programme of Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. The thesis titled “The environmental impacts of human needs and lifestyles - Connecting the global economy, natural resources and human well-being” discussed how different aspects of human consumption and lifestyle choices affect the environment and the quality of life.
