This interesting week started with a school day about “Maximum Entropy and Input-Output Analysis”. In this course, we learned about different methods that can be used to solve Input-Output data related challenges. The week continued with sessions about methodological developments, practical applications and data handling. Some of the sessions that we attended focused one consumption based accounting, linking micro-data from consumption surveys and IO models, the role of Input-Output to assess environmental policy needs, Input-Output modelling at a city level, amongst others.
