The team is well underway in planning the first of eight Mobile Research Labs. The first will take place in Berlin between April 3 - 7, 2017.
A Mobile Research Lab is an innovative method to gather rich qualitative and quantitative data through intensive intervention, participation, questioning and observation within the study context. In using this methodology, researchers will meet with stakeholders across the city engaging in or supporting the sharing economy.
In addition, the researchers will engage a group of five students from the Master's Programme in Environmental Management and Policy at the IIIEE. These students will examine the potential of the sharing economy to prevent waste by examining international best practices and the drivers and barriers to implementation in Berlin.
