The 4th International Workshop on the Sharing Economy (4IWSE)

June 15 - 16, 2017
Lund, Sweden

The sharing economy has recently resurfaced as a potential solution to multiple urban challenges. With growing interest among academics, entrepreneurs, and policy makers, the sharing economy warrants further understanding and discussion.

As such, the 4th International Workshop on the Sharing Economy is to take place in Lund, Sweden on June 15 – 16, 2017, hosted by the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).

The workshop will explore the sharing economy from a variety of conceptual, methodological, and empirical lenses including concepts, methods, impacts, operations, geographical contexts, actors and governance. Parallel sessions will focus on these areas. Participants are invited to present abstracts for presentation during parallel sessions as it relates to each area. Furthermore, sharing organisations and companies are invited to participate and present their work at the conference.
